I mentioned in my recent Monday Muse and Brew that I was itching for a rebrand. This is not new for me. I often ache for change while also desperately needing routine and structure to keep me on track. I love to live in new places, travel often and change my hair. When something no longer ‘fits’, it goes and a newness emerges.
This rebrand of sorts is a part of a total life overhaul. I am on the precipice of a lot of changes coming in the next 6-12 months (like a move, a new company and more). The Sitka Space was created because I was on a path of teaching yoga and studying counselling and while both of those are true and are happening, they also felt a bit restricted for what this Substack and other things need for expansion.
Welcome Latte Laps: part-journal, part trail log, part mountain-side manifestation space. Inspired by a ritual my husband and I call a ‘latte lap’ (doing a ski lap then heading in for coffee), this space is where adventure meets intention.
I’m using this corner of the internet to document the next chapter of my life. A mid-to-late thirties glow-up driven by squats, mountain air, and a clearer sense of who I am.
Here is what to expect:
Dispatches from the mountain - snowboarding, trail running, road trips, and outdoor highs
Real-life goal setting and manifestation - the kind that’s gritty, not glittery
Wellness practices to feel grounded, strong and capable again
Reflections on leaving burnout behind and living with more intention and joy
Honest updates as I work towards turning 40 in just over 2.5 years and feeling like my best damn self
This is not a perfect lifestyle blog. It’s an honest one - full of motion, nature, missteps, fresh powder and growth.
If you’re into wild places, soft resets, strong goals, warm coffee, and glowing up gently - you’re in the right place.
Let’s take this lap together.
